What an amazing trip this has been. The bonds that were formed on this trip and the relationships that were established will never be forgotten. The love and compassion given and received by all of us has surpassed all expectation. What a great God we serve for allowing us to go out and serve others and spread his glorious name to nations far from our city. At our last worship service at Hogar de La Roca, the team along with all the ministry's we ministered with came together and worshipped the Lord in thanksgiving and praise. It was amazing to see our girl Jaqueline and our new brother in Christ Esvin praising God with us! It was beyond anything we can ever imagine...words can not express the joy, unity, and LOVE we all felt in the room. We marched into the enemies camp and ripped out of the devils hands what he had stolen......PRAISE GOD!!!!! Guatemala has forced us to examine ourselves and take on the responsibility we sometimes shy away from. We must serve because it is our calling and we are commanded to do so by our living God. The people we encountered, the stories we listened to and the seeds that were planted, in both us and the people of Guatemala, will forever be part of who we are as a people. Guatemala was a life altering experience and no one will ever be the same! Till next time...
"The Spirit of the Lord in upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tiding; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound" Isaiah 61:1
