1979 RD400F Daytona Special for sale - SOLD!!

Hasn't been cleaned any since last ridden which was around 1999/2000(?).

SpecII expansion chambers - have original exhaust. One of the expansion chambers was hit by a rock and I sent it off to a guy who got it back into shape (air pressure maybe?). It works fine but you can see the rapaired area.
New pistons were installed less than 2,000 miles ago - sometime around 1996. Cylinders were honed and the head was cleaned up. Have an extra new metal head gasket.
Oil pump removed but still have it - went to premix.
Original tank to the bike was molested in a paint-stripping tank, so it was replaced with a used correct tank that had a few dings in it. After repainting the tank, the bondo patches started showing through a little - see pics. I have the beat-up original tank which could be used in the future for cutting out mounts or whatever.
Some other misc parts not on bike are in pics.
Have original key as well as several genuine Yamaha key blanks.
Also have K&N air filters somewhere, as well as a NOS Yamaha flasher relay, and a Yamaha repair manual.
