Cheap project truck for hauling around the kids. Pretty nice example of stock truck that had no maintenance/service done to it. Some major stuff like new head gaskets and new MAF had been done though. Purchased through Will Tillery (RoverGuy) in Danville, VA. So far have worked on:
Brakes - all rotors/pads, front calipers
Tie rod ends
Cleaned/reassembled interior
Electrical gremlins related to SRS/cruise/fuses/interior light/heated windshield chased away
Bilstein shocks
Arnott air 'springs' (suspension airbags) in rear
Viscous coupling for BorgWarner transfer case
Torque Motorworks in Swannanoa did most of the major work.
Still need to get headliner redone and replace hacked up exhaust someday. And fix crazy spaced emblem letters on hood and tailgate - how annoying.
