Scott and I met for an afternoon of exploring the FS4666 route. We took the trail to the left just past the first camping spot off of FS4666 and climbed our way up to the Mountains to Sea Trail, through the big area of fallen pines, and back down FS4668. It is a great trail that is more difficult to run counter-clockwise. Several sections took numerous attempts to get through, even with dry terrain. This would be a good loop trail to have two small groups start at the gravel road and meet in the middle for lunch up at the top. We did not go back and keep exploring FS4666 to try to get south to FS4669.
