3 June 2007 - After a week's holiday and more rain, we finally got going again and we are now making good progress in fair weather. The blue plastic sheet is a temporary cover that we put up to keep the worst of the rain out and it did a good job. We have now put up some of the sheathing and all of the studwork for the internal walls is in place. I will make a start on the ladder frames that support the gable ends tomorrow and aim to have the roof sheathing in place by wednesday night. After that the sheathing around the lower part of the building will be installed.
