12 May 2007 - The good weather has abandoned us and we're getting rain every day. We have only managed 4 or 5 hours work per day before the rain has set in. The ceiling joists are in place as is the ridge board on it's temporary supports. The first pair of rafters are in place at the left-hand end of the roof. Another of the internal walls is in place and the loft hatch opening has been made. However, rain is forecast for the coming week so progress is expected to be slow. It will now be June before we get some cladding on the building and make it weatherproof.
