We've just hiked through a cave and are taking in the view north of Canyonlands. We were supposed to be making a full day 4x4 tour of the White Rim, Canyonlands but the government shutdown meant we had to take an alternative tour. I must thank our outfitters, Navtec of Moab, for organising an alternative tour at short notice. And yes, we were very pleased with the replacement tour. As for our feelings towards those rangers who enforced the closures........
