One of these days I want to do a photo essay called "Places Where They Are Not". As an example, while the sign clearly states that it is in Los Angeles, it is situated in El Monte.

Of course, you USA baseball fans know that Anaheim's team is now the Los Angeles Angels. So what is in a name or a location?

The Angels are still in Anaheim. But, the owner has changed the name to the "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim." He says that will improve the marketing of the team.

DUDE, the Angels are no longer in Anaheim? (yeah, I haven't had the news on much lately) I feel like a piece of my childhood has forever gone.. (grew up in Anaheim in Elementary School.. Long Beach and other bits of Southern Calif most of my life) Nice find on the sign btw too.. love those Ironic bits.. I think Los Angeles just lays claim to the whole Southern California area. lol.
