JALAPEÑOS EN ESCABECHE
Most of the Mexican restaurants where I live do not offer this, but I am always very happy when I come across it.
However, a local market , in its "International" aisle, has a very vast selection of canned jalapeños, some with carrots and onions. The reason that I feel the need to bring this your attention is that in this particular can the carrots were hotter than the jalapeños. That is a pretty good trick. Sadly, I can’t recall the name of the brand.
