Yum! This reminds me of making homemade doughnuts with my mom when I was a little girl. My job was to shake the doughnuts in a paper bag which had sugar in it. This did two things, it coated the doughnuts with sugar, but the bag also absorbed the excess fat from the deep frying. Thanks for the sweet memory!
