I had lunch this afternoon with my two best friends from work. Only one retired this past October, and the other the year before that. I do feel alone and the time has come to trot out this cartoon.

I am already deprecated. The term deprecation is applied to software features that are superseded and should be avoided. Although deprecated features remain in the current version, their use may raise warning messages recommending alternate practices, and deprecation may indicate that the feature will be removed in the future. I plan to leave this November.
