Latin: Atta cephalotes
This ant colony actually lives free in one of the rainforest domes, but they are "restricted" as their lair is hidden in a tank in a lake and they only have a 4-5m (12-15 feet) long branch from the lair to their food source, all is surrounded by water! However they only have to cross hands width of water to reach the path or other soil of the rainforest.
How they manage to keep them from setteling elsewhere in the rainforrest I don't know!
