Well, we made it: 3 weeks in Nov., more than a thousand miles driven on an island roughly 25 by 33 miles. Eight months into a drought, The Garden Island still looked pretty lush to me with many unfamiliar trees and flowers. As you can see, I made good use of my black velveteen.
