Images from a 3 1/2 day workshop with Alan Caddey (aka "Mr Palouse") who had 37 years experience photographing the 60 x 40 miles of rolling hills farmland of S.E. Washington and western Idaho. The most colorful images were the results of being there for early morning sunrise and again at sunset, the contoured plowing of various crops could result in striking patterns. The rest of the day was spent (often in a drizzle or downpours) photographing churches, barns, silos and cemeteries in addition to eating fine meals at irregular hours, we shared each others photographic backgrounds. (Motel breakfast was 4 a.m.; dinners on workdays at 4 p.m.)
