Near the end of March,2005, Eddie the engineer on Metro-North (my commuter train to Manhattan) invited me to sit up front with him. I had my little Canon Elph (S400) camera with me and was able to document most of the trip. It was snowing lightly that day and overcast. I faded the edges of the pictures to get a more nostalgic effect for my rail journey.
