Ollie

Oliver was born November 15,2005. We took him home with us on January 13,2006, just 8 1/2 weeks old. He was 5.3 lbs and 10 inches at the shoulder. We named him Oliver because when we first met him, he was "Ol-over" us, licking, jumping and kissing. We call him Ollie (for short) and, because he is an Italian Greyhound...he can also be called "Olio", which is Italian for oil.

January 2008: Update. It took almost 2 yrs for Oliver to settle down. He was quite overactive but now is a good little boy, except that he doesn't always listen and he barks a bit too much. He's become quite a lover and is very friendly to everyone. Oh...and he's one tough little mug!!

Ollie lived to the ripe old age of 15 years and 2 months. He developed heart problems and had breathing difficulties, but he was active and very lovable to the end. He went to heaven on Jan 20, 2021. We will miss him dearly.
