#152 South Queensferry

Sorry guys was to tired to add a description last night, here goes :

South Queensferry sits just outside Edinburgh on the banks of the Firth of Forth.
The Forth Bridge in the background spans across the Firth of Forth connecting to Fife beyond.
It was completed in 1890 and was one of the first major steel bridge.

This is one of the best shots I've seen of the Forth Bridge. It gives perspective.

Wow, this is great... the old stonework on the house and the crazy modern bridge in the background are a great juxtaposition.

I also love the way the plants are arranged and the archway next to the iron railings. The bridge is beautiful too.
So, so much crammed into one picture.
A brilliant photograph John!!

Taken from an excellent angle. It says so much too.
The character and detail are superb. Such a beautiful building and courtyard.
