#097 Patie's Hill View

Michelle and Claudia were away meeting girlie friends today so I popped out around the Pentland Hills which extend south from the edge of Edinburgh for about 20 miles. This is a view south from Paties Hill at Carlops looking towards the hills of Tweedale.

And some shots from the village of Carlops below:

PS I will be away from home for a few days, I doubt the hotel will have internet access so I probably won't be able to post till I get back. I will be shooting so will catch up when I'm back.

Wonderful. You're so lucky to be able to 'pop out' to landscapes such as this! The Borders is such a special part of Scotland.

I like your use a long lens to get the view .
I used to stay in that area in the mid '70s.
