#061 Snowflake

Still got snow here, this time I thought I'd try a closer look.
I would have liked to better this one but hail came down and covered the light flakes.

Tech notes: I stacked 3 extension tubes totalling 64mm behind my 100mm macro to get as close as poss,
camera in manual handheld with flash to freeze any shake.
PS Thanks for all the comments on yesterdays pic, just to clarify,
the kids weren't dragged 6 miles through the snow, the school is just down the road as is the bus stop.
Oh, and I checked the mileage today with the car it's actually only 4 miles,
but lets not let the truth get in way of a good story !

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
1/100s f/14.0 at 100.0mm iso800 with Flash with extension tubes full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Really well done, I know you used flash but still, avoiding shake at that magnification is a skill...
