Looking for egrets, found whooping cranes.

Each year great egrets spend some time around New London Wisconsin in the wetlands. Went looking for them on August 9th and we found another white bird, three whooping cranes.

We went and watched them for one week and then they left on August 16th. We were in contact with the tracker from ICF, Eva Szyszkoski, and today. August 20th, she e-mailed me she flew the area on August 17 and they were heading west. They are back at Necedah............

Now how great is that?
