Mogollon, NM - A mining Almost-Ghost town

On the way from Snowflake, AZ to Silver City, NM, I passed a sign pointing up a precipitous mountan range to a town called Mogollon, which formerly served a mine (I never found out what they mined there). For those from Victoria, it reminded me of a pre-revival version of Walhalla. There are a few old houses which seem to be occupied all year, buy very suspicious-looking people; the rest are open seasonally for the Tourists (like me), but were shuttered in late March. The air was cold, but the sun was very harsh, so some of the pictures look a little bleached.
