Although the day started as a slow mover, things quickly changed for the better when nature unfolded itself before us with extraordinary beauty. It was my first time seeing white pelicans and buckeyes. I have never seen sand so white and I was never prepared for the plethora of sounds so different than any I have ever heard. It was amazing and I cannot wait to rediscover this paradise again. Next time I will give her more of my attention and spend a wee bit more time discovering all she has to offer.
