Tanglewood Park, Clemmons, NC

This chapel is located in Tanglewood Park in Clemmon, NC. It was used from 1809 until 1929 by the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church. It has been restored and is open for visitors.

What a beautiful setting! I could tell right off it was a Methodist Church. They have a penchant for building white lap-siding wooden churches with tall belfries. There is a movie on GMC right now called The 5th Quarter and it's set at Wake Forest in the fall. The trees there looked identical!
