This had to be by far one of the most exciting days of my life. Who knew you could have this much fun with your clothes on? As a close friend of mine always says WOW. This day started with Yvonne and I being picked up by our wee Eco-tour bus in front of our hotel in Estero FL. From there we traveled south to Fakahatchee Strand, Everglades city, HP Williams Roadside Park and Lake Trafford. Some of the highlights included a pontoon boat tour out of Everglades City that took us through the 10,000 Islands waterway. We had wild dolphins surf our wake and we saw manatee snouts :) We also had lunch at the Everglades Seafood Depot after our boat tour where we got to sample fried gator strips. Another cool highlight was our trip by airboat on Lake Trafford. That was loads of fun, if you have ever thought about doing it, why wait go now. At the marina I had the exciting opportunity to hold an alligator young'in and take pics of some neat snakes. Later that evening on the drive back to Manasota Key we had the privledge of experiencing one of the most fantastic sunsets I have ever seen when we stopped in Charlotte Harbor. When you see the picture in my gallery you will understand completely. Yes folks, those were the actual colors.
