This is a photogram of a crane fly (mosquito eater) wing enlarged to 5x7 black and white paper. No camera or microscope involved - instead of a film negative, it has the wing between two slides. This image has been inverted to make a positive, since the paper is neg->pos (or in this case, pos->neg). It is about 8x magnification on the paper.
