Great Horned Owl

Got on the scene about 1/2 hour too late to get a less grainy shot. This is a small crop. He was probably 35 to 40 yards away. The first owl I've ever seen in the wild during the day and lucky for me he's not super shy! And better still, he's predictable!

Not bothered by the grain at all. Great shot - well focused.

Beautiful shot! You might try applying noise ninja or even a simple lens blur filter with PS to the background to get rid of the blur if it bothers you...
