i live in chula vista,ca.in the backyard resently have many holes varies sizes, which many of my cats have watched for days morning into the next.now i see many of the cats are only here for feeding and gone.also, have assumed the cats have bought their prey to the back patio.{could be}yet,it has been large rats, mice, and birds[all kinds}plus another rodent i've not seen before.still it was TOO BIG for any of them.now i found a single egg just under leaves i rake.raking every week,so it's new.ALL CATS are up high off the ground all night.and the holes are now through some old flower bed around a african pepper tree.PLEASE,what is this egg belong to?????
