I walked up to this Snowy Egret on the Venice Fishing Pier,
where he was strolling along, looking for scraps of fish.
I told him he could go down to the beach like other egrets
and dig for small crabs and shrimp among the rocks. He looked
at me and said, "I'm too beautiful to work".
