Thank you for sharing. I live in West Atherton and am frequented by fairly large black birds that tend to flock together and are quite noisy. I don't know whether they are Ravens, crows or blackbirds. Any idea?

Great website. It really helped me ID the birds that are coming to my feeder. I've found all but the black scruffy four legged rodent that is a regular at the bath and the feeder.

What an inspirational web site. Thank you for the pleasure it offered me this morning. I am bringing a few copper quail to China for gifts, and wanted a good photo to accompany them in case these birds are unknown in Guilin. Hard to choose, yours are so sensitive.

Thank you for your wonderful pictures and the names of the birds. I have now identified that we have "House Finches" nesting in our porch eaves. It has been so much fun to watch them build their nest and tend to their young.

absolutely stunning pictures! thanks for posting these up, they're beautiful. I've picked up the hobby of taking photographs of birds fairly recently but I'm finding it hard to capture good photos, especially Fantails (New Zealand bird called Piwakawaka) who are acrobats! I'd love to see more of your photos in the future!

Awesome site!! Now I know the bird I've been watching is a Northern Flicker. It has a high pitched call that reminds me of a hawk. At first I thought it might be a small hawk, until I

thank you for this site it helped me ident the bird in my yard. It is a flicker, only darker on top, and no spots on belly. Beautiful!
