Wildflowers, San Antonio Valley

The heavy winter rains of 2004-05 produced a remarkable outburst of wildflowers in this little-known and remote area of eastern Santa Clara County, CA -- just over Mount Hamilton from Silicon Valley.

Those are absolutely incredible pictures! The colors are spectacular...it's amazing at how much hidden beauty there is in the Bay Area. I take it these flowers were on non-fenced property?

Wow, I have to add to this to my places to visit this spring. I am just now starting to discover that we have around the bay area as far as wildflower is concerned and this place looks like a great place to visit. If you want to view color right now in Feb check out Napa Valley. I have a new gallery from my visit 2 weeks ago. Thanks for the tip.
