For my first bird photography trip away from my Northern California home, I spent several days on the Texas Gulf Coast birding Galveston Island, Bolivar Flats, and High Island, digiscoping with an Olympus C-300Z point and shoot camera handheld to a Nikon Fieldscope ED 60 mm scope.
