These four shots capture a two second combative flurry between two male Northern Pintails; immediately after the bill thrusts in pictures three and four, they separated and one paddled away, neither of them apparently the worse for wear. This was shortly before sunset near the south side of the large pond at the end of Radio Road in Redwood Shores, San Mateo County, California.
