Birds -- Half Moon Bay Pelagic, October 27, 2013

Pelagic trip led by Debi Shearwater ran from 7 am to 5 pm; we found Marbled Murrelets just outside Princeton Harbor, then headed out to the edge of Pioneer Sea Canyon. We were in San Mateo Co waters almost all day, with a brief incursion into San Francisco Co when we came nearer the Farallon Islands than our distance from the SM Co coast. Overcast all day, which not the best for photography (at least my photography), but plenty of good opportunities, highlighted by as many as nine FLESH-FOOTED SHEARWATERS.
