Birds -- Monterey Bay, New Year 2016

We spent New Year's eve and day at our friends' house in Monterey Dunes, south of Moss Landing. There was nice light during the last sunset of 2015, which I spent taking pictures on the beach, paying special attention to a few Long-billed Curlews; and equally good light again the next morning, when I welcomed in the new year at Point Pinos, at the end of the Monterey Peninsula.
