Birds -- Monterey Bay, December 31, 2019

We spent New Year's with friends at their house in Monterey Dunes Colony as we have for many years. Afternoon of the last day of 2019 I walked south along Salinas River State Beach with my camera, came upon three CURLEWS putting on a show in mostly good light as they foraged along the surf line; here are some of my photos.
