As usual with this species, this one was flycatching at the top of a tall tree, quite far away for photo purposes -- so I stacked two extenders on my 500 mm lens to get extra reach. I believe this was the first Olive-sided Flycatcher reported in Santa Clara County in the Spring of 2009.
