I was part of a group of photographers (and a couple of non-photographing spouses) traveling to the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica in January of 2014, led by Nick Fucci. We spent five nights at Lookout Inn in Carate, and three at Bosque del Cabo, in the rainforest at the tip of the peninsula. Highlights were Scarlet Macaws at Carate, Chestnut-mandibled Toucans at Bosque, and plenty of other birds and critters in both places -- a wonderful trip to a beautiful and wildlife-rich part of the world. Other photographers on the trip were Steve Freno, Mark Lacharite, Jim Lesperance, Teré Nelson, and Susan Schermer.
