After a long period of photographing birds only out my backyard window, I indulged myself with a morning walk around Shoreline Lake in Mountain View, camera in hand; some of my photos shown here. A flyover male Northern Harrier and an adult Common Gallinule were among the birds photographed, but just being out and about in pursuit of any birds, even familiar ones, was the main reward.
