Photo-a-day 2005

My project for 2005 is to take a photo every day, or at least seven photos a week. At some point in the future, I will give prints of these photos to my unborn son as a visual reminder of what 2005, the year he was born, looked like.

What your doing is a great ideal. I myself lived in Houston for 38yrs and now live in upstate NY and to see pictures of Houston through your eyes is refreshing. Like I said 38yrs I lived there and one gets tunnel vision and we dont see things that are in front of us everyday. I see my surroundings here in NY the way you see Houston, through fresh eyes. Everything has a meaning to it. Even somthing as simple as a car passing by. Like you, I notice things here that the locals have been blind to for years, it takes a newbie to show us things that we see but dont see. Good Job on your photo diary, and thank you for reminding me of the beauty of Houston....Donna, Upstate New York. (a misplaced Texan)

What a beautiful gift! This little man is extremely lucky to be born in this day and time with parents as thoughtful and giving as you. I commend you both. The photography is wonderful -- true artistry. I look forward to seeing the remaining 'pictures of life' throughout the year.
