This is a view of my extended porch that I further extended to the fence when I moved in and yes, I did all the work myself. No help from anyone. Of course, that was about 4 year ago. Don't know if I'd try again to do this by myself. The front part where the lounge chair is was there already, I just made the area where the table and umbrella are into an extra patio sitting area. So, today I spent the morning and most of the afternoon getting my backyard taken care of. I trimmed rose bushes, cleaned off the side porch, trimmed trees, pulled weeds, etc... Even moved my small refridgerator onto the backporch for quick drinks when hanging out relaxing! Everything looks so great and I added a couple of plants to just add a little more zing. May add a few others down the line but for now I'm satisfied. So, the yard boy should be here tomorrow to mow and edge so the outside of the house is looking great. All I need is my new backdoor with doggie door and my new gate installed and I'm ready to rock and roll. Then, the closets and my garage need going through! That part I'm not looking forward to that at all but it must be done and when it is I'll feel so much better. So, anyone care to join me for a glass of lemonade and a good BBQ cookout?
