A friend, no a sister to me. Lisa, as I have mentioned before, was diagnosed about a year and a half before I was. She went with me when I was told my diagnosis and what I was facing. She took notes when I couldn't. She held my hand as the surgeon said I would need to have both breasts removed. She held my hands as her husband, Jeff, shaved my head after my hair started falling out from chemotherapy. She was there to answer my questions, to help me understand what I was going through as she had been there. She is my rock. She is God sent and will forever hold a huge place in my heart. This woman, this beautiful woman, is more than a friend, she is like my sister. She is one amazing woman and she is married to one amazing man. Both she and Jeff are the best! My other friends, Sandy and Billy also played an instrumental role in my healing. And, I will never forget nor forever be able to thank my parents and sisters for being there for me and holding my hand through my darkest moments, for taking me to chemo, for taking care of me when I couldn't, for just being the best family I could ever ask for and I thank God for all of you. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I love all of you more than you know! I'm forever grateful to each and every one of you!
