HONEST JOES

Fort Worth, TX

I didn't take this picture. I'm restoring it for reprint for Billy. I thought I'd take a shot of it for the PaD.

And, by the way, don't ever trust anyone that uses "Honest" in front of their name! Hehe!

I just feel Texans should be a bit more confident and out-going!! I hope there's some sort of preservation order on this amazing building! It just HAD to be pictured!

What a fantastic photo ... looks like an honest place to shop ... you can get tools, loans, guns and locks ... what else does someone need ???

Isn't Honest his first name?? Awesome place and image.

I think that Joe owns the place. I also love the "Loan Ranger". It appears that more than a few fell short on their loans. This is great Americana. Vote

It's a good thing he doesn't have city ordinances like where I am ... the signs would be torn down in about 10 minutes. Great shot. ;o)))
I could spend 20 minutes reading all the signage, and be none the wiser.

PS Is that Joe's mother out front... ;-)

I would never trust anyone with this much advertising, especially as Joe lends out money!
A lovely old picture.
