FINALLY A FEW CLOUDS

I don't know why I love the sunsets so much...probably because it reminds me of the blessing I have to be alive today. Kind of like God is giving me a gift. Each are different and special in their own way. Don't need to spend any money to see the beauty in the world...just open your eyes and be grateful you are alive and able to see another day.

btw...did not saturate this shot at all. Put the settings at different levels and with different white balance settings...amazing how colorful you can get the sunrise to be. Shot a lot of ones with different settings but this one was my favorite.

Paul Dovie taught me that trick when I visited him and his wife, Mary during my trek last September. Your work here is beautiful. My only critique would be the horizon. I would prefer to see 2/3 sky and about 1/3 water. Still, the image is spectacular. V

Like I've said before, give me a partially cloudy sky at sunset over a clear sky any day. The cloud combinations provide an infinitesimal number of backgrounds to work with. I bet there is even strikingly beautiful yet different combos 10 minutes before and after this shot. You're saturation treatment of this image is exactly how I would have done it. Some may complain that it is oversaturated, but I tend to process it the way I like anyway.
