LIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF SUBURBIA , TWO MILES FROM WORK

Bedford, TX

I'm starting to think this is becoming a popular thing in Texas....to have a pet Zebra. I found this guy in the front yard of a huge house only 2 miles from work, in the middle of a suburban neighborhood. Hmmmmm......

Terrific shot; can I ask what lens you were using?

Bravo, Cindi, this is an extraordinary image. Your focus is tack sharp - I can almost count his mane hairs! Very beautifully done. V.

This is SO beautiful! However, I guess I really do need to go check out this Texas place. Zebras and camels as backyard pets, hunky men growing out of lawns, hunky men in general, women who walk around with moths stuck to their nose. What else are you hiding?! :) I keep checking MY yard every morning, and all I see is a forest of toad stools. If it would ever stop raining, I might be desperate enough to go out and photograph them for lack of something more interesting.

Are you sure you haven't been out with the paintbrush late at night again?.....

AWESOME shot Cindi!

I suspect the yard had an electric fence just for zebras! Excellent eye level portrait, Cindi, and nice bokeh. V

Great shot - love the bokeh.

Er, are there any horses left in Texas, or is it all camels and Zebras now?! LOL

He looks like he's thinking about home ~ the Serengeti perhaps !! A beautiful shot, Cindi.

A super portrait and, at least he doesn't have to worry about lions.

God was showing off when he created Zebras ;-)

Honey, did you walk the Zebra?
The Zebra ate my homework!

Brilliant image! I hope he's happier there than in a zoo. But how might he have got there in the first place?? You're making us ask questions... -v-

Well done. It is not always easy to get a sharp shot of the stripes like this.

Well he's very handsome but....is a garden, however big, the right place for a Zebra???
