OVERLOOKING SYDNEY

Sydney, Australia

I got a call yesterday from RedBubble about a photography job located in Australia. They have contacted me before but had an interview last night with them. The interview went very well but I would have to move to Australia and I am really not sure I would want to do that. My family and wonderful frends are here and being that far away would be very difficult for me. I love Australia and if I ever had the chance to move to another country, it would be to OZ but.....it was an honor to have been contacted as I didn't apply for a job with them and they tracked me down. Don't worry, Mom....I think I will probably stay here. I don't think I could stay that far away from home.

Well I think you'd certainly liven this place up! But I know what you mean; I couldn't make the opposite move either even though Texas would be as interesting as all get-out to spend some time in. Any time you wanted to come for a visit, though, I'm sure that there would be a bunch of Antipodean pBasers glad to see the photographic results...

Congratulations, Cindi! I don't envy you the decision to make.
My stepdaughter, aka "Pink Boots," is pleading with me to move to Portugal.
The lure of a new life in a great country is so appealing, but then there are famiiy
(very important) and friends.

Would be a great oportunity to live in this wonderful country!

Congratulations... what a fantastic offer to do something you obviously love.
That is nearly as far away, from where you now live, that you could move and still be on earth. So your decision is easy to understand.

Oh my goodness, Cindi. What an exciting offer. I can't imagine moving so far away either, but I did fall in love quickly, with both Australia and New Zealand. Think about it, it wouldn't be forever, and what an experience it could be. Congratulations for the offer either way!
JW14-Sep-2007 11:34
Wow! What an amazing offer. I'm intrigued to know how that came about. It is a long way from your home though, of course. Perhaps you could put in a good word for me ! LOL I'd go tomorrow!

Great SP with the perfect back-drop!
