While in Louisiana this weekend, my cousin Tracey and I went to the Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge. It has a ton of miles of marshland which is wonderful for all kinds of wildlife. Got a lot of great bird shots of quite a few birds I've only seen in the zoo. It was wonderful to see them in their natural settings. This Great White Egret is one of the birds I shot but I can find these up here in Fort Worth but the setting was never as beautiful as it was in Louisiana.
