PIER AT NIGHT

White Rock Lake, Dallas

After my Grandmother's funeral I decided to go out by myself for a little while. Went down to White Rock Lake and sat there for a little while and then decided to take this shot. A cold night and I was the only one there with this lonely light. It felt good to sit down there and pray and to remember what a special woman my Grandmother was. She was a lady in everything she did. Her loving spirit and touch will forever be within me.

Lovely image, Cindi. I can feel the cold and your sadness through it. Losing my grandmother was one of the hardest things I've gone through in my life. She was very special to me. My sympathy, empathy and prayers are with you tonight.
