IN REMEMBERANCE OF ELLIE HOFFMAN

Fort Worth, TX

I worked a lot of years with Ellie. She passed away on October 14, 2006 from Breast Cancer.
She was a wonderful and most generous woman and will be truly missed by all who knew her. She
was an inspiration to me during my fight and holds a special place in my heart as we were in
the fight together.

Ellie went into remission just to have it come back and spread throughout her body. She passed
away during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A reminder to all to do self-examinations and
to get your mammograms every year.

I will miss you and you will always be loved, Ellie!

This touched a part of my heart, for this reason. I know what it means to fight, and many times win. I also know what it means to fight, and sometimes lose. I was once a fighter, in the boxing ring. I won most, lost a few. Now I teach the young ones to win most, and to sometimes deal with loss. All of us go through this life fighting...for one thing or the other. I believe that sometimes, when it seems that we may appear to lose, in actuality, it's a means and stepping stone to a greater glory, given to us by GOD, than we could ever hope to acheive on our own. God bless Ellie Hoffman, and all those who are in this fight...may you win forever!!! God bless and remember this...LIVE TO LOVE...LOVE..TO..LIVE!!!

It seems that everywhere I go these days, I am hearing of more and more YOUNG women with this type of cancer. It seems to be in epidemic form or are we just now finding it earlier?? Cindi, yours was truly diagnosed in time and the chances of it returning are so minimal, I am just grateful for that! You look fabulous and are taking care to get check ups as needed. Sorry about this latest loss from this horrible disease! God bless.
