CHILDREN OF THE LEAVES?

I think I figured it out. The children of the corn have got to go somewhere when they harvest the corn fields. I found them rising from the leaf piles. Be careful where you walk. You don't know what may grab a hold of you. :)

That's why you should always burn any pile of leaves you get near! :-)

I remember as a kid, we would rake the leaves into a pile in the street near the curb and use them as forts to battle the kids across the street, leaves can be fun! Today they are beautiful on the tree but ugly on the ground!
