My Dad passed away this morning around sunrise. I got out this evening and took a pic of the sunset. Added the poem and I'm sitting here missing him dearly. My rock, my inspiration, my drive, my love, my Dad. The most amazing man I've ever known who sacrificed and worked so hard to make a great life for his family. Always there, no matter what to support and love us all. His compassion and his love touched everyone he met. He was there every step of the way during my life. He fed me water and built me up when I wanted to give up while battling cancer and kept me going. I'll never forget the hurt in his eyes when I was diagnosed and how he tried to stay strong for me. The love he had for us and my Mom was something special and rare. I'm going to always carry his memory in my heart and can't wait for the day I will see him again. Heaven received a special resident this morning. And, here on earth he will be missed by all he knew, and especially his loving family.
